THE CHESS STATE – Leningrad Series Luxury Chessmen. The Chessmen feature a 4″ King with a 1.6″ Diameter base and are heavily weighted. Leningrad Staunton are an evolved variation of supremely popular Russian Zagreb chessmen.
The Leningrad is one of our high-end-sets made in wood combinations Boxwood & Rosewood.
Leningrad’s beauty need not be described here for it’s a self-exhibiting one. Its exquisite splendour stands as a hall mark for our company exporting to the west. The design, quality and craftsmanship of this set are unmatched by any set else in its price range that comes not any closer either. Not only that, the carving on the Leningrad chessmen is slightly more ornate, especially on the knights. With their height and detail, all the pieces look regal and elegant. These large pieces are nicely weighted and naturally polished with plush flocked bases in green. They are great for home and tournament use. It offers the highest level of detail and would make a wonderful additional to any chess collection.
