The Chess State – French Chavet Championship Series Chessmen. The Chessmen feature a 3.6″ King with a 1.6″ Diameter base and are heavily weighted.
This fascinating French chess set was designed by the famous French maker called Chavet in the early 90s. The set was used during the iconic World Chess Championship in 1990(Lyon). Since then, the design has gone through many iterations but this early 90s version is one of the best chess sets ever designed in the Staunton style.
